A member, as defined by the Episcopal Church canons, is basically a person who has been baptized in the Episcopal Church, confirmed Episcopalian or received into the Episcopal Church by the bishop, or whose baptism through another denomination is recorded at St. Paul's by a letter of transfer. A member regularly attends worship services and contributes through pledge or contributions.
If you would like to become a member of St. Paul's by a letter of transfer, we will be glad to assist you with this very simple procedure. Louise Forstall, our membership registrar, will be your contact person and may be reached at 703-549-3312.
Baptism is offered during the church year to adults and children. Confirmation is offered once a year at the time of the bishop's visit to St. Paul's. Please let the church office (703-549-3312) know of your interest in becoming a member of St. Paul's by baptism and/or confirmation.
If you wish to have your name placed on the St. Paul's mailing list, please contact our parish administrator, Jane McCabe, by phone or e-mail, office@stpaulsepis.com. Our newsletter, The Epistle, is published monthly and includes information on parish activities and programs.
If you are interested in becoming a member please fill out The Letter of Transfer Request Information Form. |
