Christian education for adults draws on the resources
of our parish and our community to provide a stimulating
and informative program of reflection and learning.
Our goals are to provide grounding in the basics of
our faith and to reflect on the meaning of these basics
for our lives today. Our Spring
2010 Adult Forum Series is entitled: "Liturgy:
The Story of Who We Are."
Adult Inquirers' Class

St. Paul's Inquirers' class will take place Wednesday
evenings during Lent, starting Feb 24, 2010 at 7:30
p.m. All are welcome, particularly adults seeking confirmation,
reception, or reaffirmation of baptismal vows.
St. Paul's Book Club

This group meets on Wednesday evenings periodically
throughout the year to discuss a pre-selected book.
Weekday Bible Study

This group meets Mondays at 11:00 a.m. on the third
floor of Wilmer Hall during the program year. Bible
Study begins on September 21, 2009 and continues through
May 2010.
Martha J. Horne Lecture Series
The Martha J. Horne Lectures have been established to
recognize and celebrate the significant contributions
that Dean Horne has made to the education and formation
of many women and men for service in the Church. Her
efforts to prepare students have been significant and
far-reaching. These lectures strive to honor the commitment
she has made to the Virginia Theological Seminary during
her 13 years as Dean and President and to St. Paul's
through her long-standing ministry as a Parish Associate.
The lecture typically takes place in late winter.
St. Paul's defines formation as ministry that encourages,
develops, and supports disciples for ministry in the
